ForgeMastersFilms artistic director, Dudley Rees, is heading to the Cannes International Film Festival on Sunday to seek out funding for a sequel to the popular 2010 teen slasher “Destination Bumrape”. Rees is hoping to raise an additional 4.5 million for the new movie, “Bumrape II: This time it’s Pers-anal”.
With part one of the first movie fast approaching 100,000 hits on YouTube, Rees hopes to capitalise on the film’s popularity. ForgeMastersFilms currently has a new short, “Pendency” in editing, could this signify a Cannes entry for next year?...

Well, it’s that time again, ForgeMastersFilms are heading into production on Monday. Tell the wife and kids I love them. We’ve had a great pre-production month, enrolling a new director of Photography, sound engineer and lead-actress and we know, along with some old favourites, ForgeMastersFilms is going to step up its game once again.
The film is a 10 minute short that we’re going to be pimping around the film-festival circuit. Synopsis’ are so difficult to write that I’ll come back to you on what the film’s actually about. But needless to say, you’re going to love it! See you then!

"Destination Bumrape" made its television debut last night, airing on channel 98 Las Cruces, New Mexico.
At half past midnight Mountain time (half seven in the morning, Greenwich time) the popular supernatural-chiller was aired live over the city of 100,000 occupants as part of an evening of horror specials. Destination Bumrape adds to the already diverse schedule of the channel, that regularly features religious and specialist programming reflective of the community of Las Cruces, such as "Notes from the Cross", "Hispano Chamber" and "Iran - Food for Thought".

Better than a James Cameron sequel, the ForgeMastersFilms website is back, and more action-packed than ever. Coder Dudley Rees, brings you a design by Dan Chisholm, with special logo effects by Owen Bennett in a website that has been described as "A Triumph" and "Spectacular". We really hope you enjoy it as much as the critics.
Thanks for stopping by!

Moritz Schmittat took me to the premiere of a film he'd composed on yesterday. 'Deserter' by Calum Mackinnon. It was far less about pudding than I expected and far more about World War II. A really impressive showcase for writer, director, Calum M and I was out to try and learn some things.
It was filmed on a 'Red' camera, which I hadn't heard of. The overall look was incredible, cinematic footage, and I'm totally sold that this is the camera for my next project. Initial research says they're £1000 per week to hire. No film of mine has ever taken longer than a week to shoot...

Anything is possible at the outset. We believe in pursuing our ideas resolutely and delaying compromise beyond the expected. This allows us to make films that other people cannot make and infuses our shoots with an energy of possibility.
We love creative people!
We have no preconceived agenda and our projects grow from a passion for telling a good story. Hopefully our enthusiasm will translate into enjoyment for a wider audience (see our Thoughts on Entertainment next).
Entertainment for entertainments sake is not a taboo at FMF. We love making films that people will enjoy.
As such we never confine ourselves to making niche movies but seek to engage the widest possible audience. We want lots of people to see our films not just a small bunch of wankers in an art-house kino with their scarves flapping around like a bunch of nobs.
